MINI has brought together conflicting profiles in a single attractive package in the new Clubvan Concept. The Clubvan, which is based on the Clubman, is scheduled for its world premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show 2012.

According to MINI, it will combine the driving fun which it is renowned for with increased load-carrying capabilities.

The load area is closed-off behind the front seats and opaque rear side windows will differentiate this practical MINI from the Clubman. Like the Clubman, the rear doors split in the middle and to maximise practicality, the load area stretches right up to the partition grille behind the two front seats.

On the floor of the load area are six attachment hoops, which are recessed into the floor, to hold down items. The partition grille ensures that the driver is safe from these items should they move about.

The load area can also feature made-to-measure drawers or shelving units, or even 12-volt plug sockets to provide additional practicality.
