MMER 2010: Day 01 Coverage on Team JPM Dragon-i

In the Sports Production Class Team JPM Dragon-i as the only Porsche is happy with the proceedings of event as of far.

TJ Chin said: "We were initially facing some tyre problems with Pirellis earlier in the day as we couldn't find much grip in the front of the car after a few laps. The problem was rectified later when they replaced the earlier tyres given as it was noted that the tyres given earlier was of the wrong batch. Everything was ok after that."

"We are not expecting to get pole position this time around as I think we may be the slowest car come qualifying," he further added as a joke.

During Sports Production Class practice in the afternoon, Team JPM Dragon-i was second in class with the time of 2:26.213 behind Team Mofaz Racing who was fastest during Practice 1 with the time of 2:23.921.

"Our objectives this round is clear. We aim to finish the race and hopefully to finish well. Personally I'll be happy as long as it's not last," he said when we asked about what kind of results they were seeking for.
